Steve Adams is an excellent musician and songwriter whose music is filled with a gentle melancholic poetry which reaches out through the skillful and ringing guitar work evident in his instrumentals. There are shades of Davy Graham and Ian Anderson, and echoes of the free spirit of the sixties counter-culture - but this is also a music which reaches back to Doc Watson and forward to the new age alternative ethos.

This fine 4 song EP is music for the soul and is an excellent addition to the Prosity Records catalogue.

Sound engineered by Russ Chandler and the gig was sponsored by Waltham Forest Trades Council.

So far we have had some excellent progress for the label - and hopefully this can be developed further with future releases and new ideas for presenting our artists' music.

Scott Campbell is working on a CD based on the EP he has released through this label - something to look forward too, and something Prosity Records will gladly help to promote. Part of the purpose of this venture is to act a point of cooperation for musicians wishing to release their music in a form which suits them, and to maintain that relationship outside some accepted commercial norm.

Rob Morrow is as busy as always playing and organising gigs, and looking out for potential recruits - hopefully he may have some new tunes for us before long.

Dan Tindall has released an EP through another netlabel (Binary Releases) - you can find details of this below.

Well, this is how it happened. RobbyM had these songs. Mike is always up for it, but always busy. So Robby spent ages looking for a singer. Then, one day he found a capo and a key he could almost sing in. Then he sang a few. Then he started going out under cover of the night to singer’s nights and skulked among the covers. Then, one Christmas, Neil was the only other singer at a pub and suggested Dharma Banana at The Cumberland Arms for 2005. And so it was………Aiden and Frank put the accent on new material and a relaxed friendly atmosphere…….and they recorded some live stuff…….so Robby dragged Mike along……and then Robby and Mike went around to Frank’s studio…….and Robby played these songs while Mike busked along……but he’s a quick learner....
